Tracey Johnson

​Tracey Johnson is a disability and caregiver advocate well acquainted with Medicaid waivers and long-term care case management. She has a B.S. in Rehabilitation from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Masters Degree in Human Services (Health and Wellness) from Liberty University.  Tracey is passionate about helping caregivers advocate for services and supports and promoting caregiver self-care.  Tracey was inspired by her mother's selfless care and labor of love for her Uncle M.  

Christen Burnett

Program Administrator 
​Christen Burnett is the Graphic Artist and Program Administrator for Inspired Life Services. She studied Art and Design at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Christen gained experience with waiver services and disability advocacy as a consumer directed Medicaid waiver administrator.    

Evelyn Smith
August 29, 1944 - November 19, 2023
Co-Founder
Evelyn Smith was the matriarch of our family and the inspiration behind our mission. With years of experience caring for her younger brother, Marvin (1/2/52 – 5/19/23), she exemplified selfless dedication to advocacy and compassionate, dignified care. Her unwavering commitment and keen attention to detail shaped the Inspired Life Services Standards of Care, setting the foundation for the highest level of quality care with dignity.
We proudly carry on her legacy in her honor!

Rebecca Williams 

Administrative Assistant 
​Rebecca Williams provides administrative support with her attention to detail and many years of administrative experience.  She served her country in the United States Army and served her community as secretary and treasurer of her church where she honed her skills managing payroll, accounting, weekly bulletins, newsletters, and provided administrative support to the senior pastor.  Rebecca was a faithful caregiver to her mother, and understands the importance of person-centered care with dignity. 

Ashley Short

Project Management
​Ashley Short is a former Certified Nursing Assistant, and gifted caregiver with experience in special needs, dementia, seniors and post surgical care.  Ashley has training in Therapeutic Options of Virginia, Medication Management, and is a Certified Life Coach. Ashley co-facilitates Caregiver Connections.
