Inspired Life Services was founded to be a community based residential program committed to providing care, treatment and programming to individuals with a primary diagnosis of Developmental Disability. Inspired Life Service's mission is to provide a place to call home in Tidewater Virginia, for adults with different abilities to live an inspired life rich with purpose and autonomy while receiving family style care by staff trained in the art of person centered care with dignity.
After the passing of Evelyn Smith, Tracey's mother, and co-founder we have decided to postpone the opening of our group home.
We continue to work as a caregiver advocates through the CAREGIVER CONNECTIONS SUPPORT GROUP,
and helping families access resources and navigate waivers services.
Despite the loss, the mission lives on.
